UniBern students learn about anthropological theory through audiovisual practice in Dr. Alexandra's Co-Creative Documentary course. Building on lived experiences, they create first-person narratives that poetically interrogate contemporary concerns. The videos collected in First Person Plural explore gender-based violence, migration and belonging, religion, the taste of memories, societal perceptions of mental health and well-being, tourism, and the role and place of the ethnographer.
