Workshop: Wallwork and playful backbends
A dynamic practice using the wall as challenge and support, taking ourselves into deeper dimensions of our asana and alignment path. The walls resistance will awaken the natural push and pull- gathering and expanding into space.
We will further llook at how the wall supports us to safely approach deeper backbends. After a warm up sequence with backbending elements we will gradually see that the essence of backbending is a journey through your whole body. We will extend our awareness into opening the heart and shoulders always keeping a focus on creating space while having a strong core. All the way into playful backbends and inverted wall work.
Ultimately we will have to find the lesson in our own experiences.
